( Covington ) It's been a little over two years since Jeff Ruby's Waterfront restaurant broke free from moorings at the foot of the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and floated about a hundred yards down river. All of the diners on board made it off safely, but the restaurant has been closed since then.
Now, Jeff Ruby and Covington city leaders are set to announce the iconic restaurant will reopen upriver, at the former site of the Covington Landing entertainment complex. Details of the deal are expected to be announced later today.
