( Montgomery ) - A former assistant principal at Sycamore Junior High will have a chance to go through rehab and have his record cleaned of felony convictions. 53-Year-Old Douglas Kennedy of Montgomery pleaded guilty Wednesday to multiple counts of deception to obtain dangerous drugs.

Kennedy used fake prescriptions to get painkillers from Kroger and Walgreen's stores. He was suspended without pay last month, and whether or not he'll continue being employed by Sycamore schools is still up in the air.

If Kennedy successfully completes a rehab program, his convictions will be expunged. Otherwise, he faces up to 13 years if convicted in criminal court.
