(Butler County, Oh) Negotiations are set to continue between Butler County leaders and the Butler County Children Services Independent Union....this is the first time since the strike began over a week ago...the two parties will meet at 1PM. Striking social workers say the children in the system are being harmed by the strike. County leaders say despite claim by union members the children are being properly cared for. They say they have hired 15 new permanent workers and have help from social workers from other agencies as well as workers who chose not to strike. County leaders also say out of the 128 union members only 55 have decided to strike.
