(Cincinnati)--Reds COO Phil Castellini says that the team will be ready to host the 2015 All-Star game at Great American Ball Park. Castellini addressed the media in a short press conference on Crosley Terrace, Friday afternoon. He talked about what the team learned after a visit to the 2014 All-Star Game in Minneapolis.
Castellini says that one of the biggest lessons he took away from the trip was the amount of community involvement he saw at the game. He says it is essential to have the same energy level in Cincinnati to make the event special.
Castellini also spoke about Pete Rose. He said that although they plan to have Rose involved in the ceremonies as much as possible, it will be up to the leagues discretion to decide how much Pete Rose will be involved.
