(Cincinnati) -- As of Tuesday, Cincinnati Public Works had 423 active requests to fill potholes.  Most of those were from December and January.  But, the workers who would normally respond, have been busy clearing snow and ice.

But, starting March 3rd, they'll start the annual blitz, with ten to 12 two-person crews dedicated to filling the holes.  Jarrod Bolden says potholes can be reported via Twitter, online, by using the city's app for smartphones, or by calling 591-6000.  Bolden says their goal is to respond to every report of a pothole in a timely manner.  He says they can't fill a hole if they don't know about it

The blitz comes at a price.  Bolden says some things like fixing street lights or signs, could get pushed back as they concentrate on the potholes.
