Police say, Alcohol a Factor in Anderson Twp. Crash

(Anderson Township, Oh.)--A crash in Anderson Township, injured three people Sunday morning.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's office says Steven Wayne Taulbee, age 22, of New Richmond, was traveling east on Kellogg Avenue, when he lost control and crossed into the westbound lanes, striking a wall and utility pole.


Officers say Taulbee's two back seat passengers Alyssa Couch, age 20, and Gregory Forsee, age 22, where not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Couch, was flown by University Air Care to UC Medical Center after she was taken to Anderson Mercy Hospital by friends. Forsee, refused medical treatment at the scene.


The driver, Mr. Taulbee, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, he was taken by his mother to Anderson Mercy Hospital and then transported to UC Medical Center by squad.


The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol was a factor in the crash.
