Thieves Steal Copper from Schools AC Units

(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Police are on the lookout for two men who were seen on surveillance video stealing copper from the air conditioning units at Elmwood Place Elementary School.

Elmwood Place Police Department, says all the copper piping on the exterior and interior of the school’s large industrial air-conditioner, was removed on April 5.

The school says this is the second time copper thieves have struck the school the same crime happened about two months ago, the repair that time cost $19,000.

Investigators say the repairs from the first crime were completed on Thursday April, 3. The copper was stolen again about 48 hours later.
