UPDATE: Rutherford was in court Thursday morning. A judge set his bond at $2-million.


UPDATE:Officers report they took Alfred Rutherford into custody just before 11a.m. Wednesday. He was found at Joyce Park in Hamilton.


 (Hamilton) At 2:24 Am Hamilton Police Officers Responded To 2710 Hilda Ave., On A Report Of A Shooting That Was Found To Be A Homicide. When Officers Arrived Information Provided To Officers Was That Alfred I. Rutherford Who Lived At That Address Had Shot His Daughter, Lacey L. Rutherford, 29 Years Old. Lacey Who Also Lived At The Hilda Address Was Found Dead At The Scene.

 During The Search Of The Home By Officers A Second Victim, A Male Whose Identity Has Not Yet Been Confirmed Was Also Found Dead Of A Gunshot Wound.  When Identification Is Made And Family Notification Is Confirmed The Identity Of The Second Victim Will Be Released.

 Hamilton Detectives Are Investigating The Shooting As A Double Homicide.  Detectives Have Named Alfred I. Rutherford, Of The Hilda Address As The Suspect Of The Shooting. Investigating Detectives Need The Help Of The Public To Locate The Suspect.

Wanted Is Alfred I. Rutherford, Male, White, 55 Years Old.  Rutherford Is 5 Feet 11 Inches Tall And Weighs 185 Pounds.  He Has Short Cut Salt And Pepper Hair And A Mustache.  He Left The Scene In A Four Door Ford Escort That Is Red In Color.  The Vehicle Has Ohio License Fps7275.  The Escort Could Be A Mid 90’S Model; However That Has Not Been Confirmed At This Time.

A Destination For Rutherford Is Unknown, However He Should Be Considered Armed.  If Rutherford Or The Vehicle Is Seen, Contact 911 Or The Hamilton Police Detectives At 513-868-5811 Ext. 2002.
