from Wisconsin
The Cincinnati Bengals dropped out of the 21st pick in a trade down with New England. Back on the clock at No. 27, the Bengals drafted guard Kevin Zeitler out of Wisconsin.
Zeitler isn’t a great athlete, but he is a mauling run blocker who played in a Wisconsin system that annually produces solid offensive linemen low on “bust factor.”
The Bengals needed interior line help after parting with Nate Livings and Bobbie Williams in free agency, and Zeitler projects as their likely Week One starter at right guard. Free agent pickup Travelle Wharton figures to replace Livings on the left side.
