George Iloka

The Bengals have agreed to terms with the first of their draft picks from this year’s class, agreeing to terms with safety George Iloka on a four-year deal. Per league source it is the standard four-year deal (total $2.1 million) with a signing bonus of $160,300.

At Boise State last season Iloka made first team All-Mountain West after starting all 13 games and posting 58 tackles, including three for loss, a pass breakup, and a forced fumble.

At 6 foot-3 Iloka is extremely athletic and shows excellent range. The one thing he needs is more consistency as a tackler. He should be in the mix in the competition for playing time at safety and has a chance of vying for a starting spot.
