An Erlanger, Kentucky man was arrested for robbing the Subway Restaurant located at 1790 Airport Exchange Boulevard in Boone County Sunday at approximately 3:55 p.m.
Harry Lindle, 20 of Erlanger, Kentucky is *charged with Robbery 1st degree after he displayed a handgun to a Subway employee while purchasing a cookie and then reaching over the counter and taking cash from the drawer. Lindle fled on foot only to be followed by a witness who provided his description and direction of travel to responding deputies.
Deputy Wes Mackey set up a perimeter near a wooded area where shortly thereafter Lindle exited the woods with his hands in the air and what turned out to be an airsoft gun tucked in his pants. Lindle was lodged in the Boone County Detention Center.
