( The Banks ) - The escape room craze is coming to The Banks.
The Escape Game announced on Thursday that it's going to open on Freedom Way between Taste of Belgium and Pies and Pints. A statement says they're shooting for an opening in the fourth quarter of the year.
The 6,000-square-foot facility will have groups of people spending about 60 minutes trying to solve a series of puzzles in scenarios like escaping prison, repairing a spaceship, or finding hidden treasure.
Teddy Cheek, Marketing and Brand Director for The Escape Game, says "Our adventures are more Star Wars than Sudoku, full of unforseen twists, turns, and always a couple great 'wow' moments."
The Escape Game currently operates nine locations including Mall of America, Nashville, Austin, Chicago, Houston, and Orlando.
