(Terrace Park) - U.S. Senator Rob Portman is again introducing legislation to ban government shutdowns.
Portman has already tried to pass this bill multiple times and says he plans to include it in any government funding bill over the next few weeks.
The Republican's bill would require stopgap spending bills to take effect if Congress can't agree on spending legislation.
President Donald Trump says congress has February 15 to come up with a spending plan or the federal government could face another shut down.
