Major Flooding Today Along the Mill Creek

The 28 mile Mill Creek that runs from West Chester south along 75 to the Ohio River serves as this area;s main drain. Stormwater from 169 square miles flows into it and that is why it is out of its banks today. The latest projections are predicting the worst flooding on the Mill Creek we have ever seen.

The crest is expected at over 18 feet which would be two feet higher than the worst flood ever seen along it back in 2017. Businesses in Evendale and Sharonville are being advised to take the flood warning very seriously, this has the potential to become a FEMA 1 percent flood.

The National Weather Service warns to expect street flooding along Canal, Kemper and Sharon roads----with water going into many of the businesses along the mill creek in Evendale and Sharonville.
