High School Contact Sports Will Be Played in Ohio

Today is the day that Ohio's Governor will lay out his plan for playing high school sports this fall like football and soccer. The conditions on playing the games are expected to include no fans in the stands beyond family members who are spread out throughout the stadium. We don't know if the governor will require COVID-19 testing for all players but there are sure to be health screening requirements and the use of masks on the sidelines.

The announcement comes at 2pm and you will hear it live on Newsradio 700WLW and https://www.iheart.com/live/700wlw-1713/ .

The Governor has scheduled conference calls with all fall coaches and administrators for this evening to go over the new requirements.
