Kings Island is pouring 27 million dollars into a new campground near its amusement park in Mason. Camp Cedar is being described as a new luxury outdoor resort that will initially feature 73 cottages and 164 full service R-V spaces.
The complex will include several pools and ponds as well as a walking trail and a variety of dining options. Kings Island says it will also include all the camping must-haves including bath houses, laundry facilities, fire pits, grills and picnic tables.
Camp Cedar construction is already underway with an opening scheduled for the spring of next year.
