Black Lab Lady hasn't always had the best of luck. Her original owner passed away in 2012 leaving Lady homeless and unwanted. She was sent to Chautauqua County Animal Shelter, in Kansas where she was adopted by a family. Unfortunately, the family rehomed Lady again after she was rough with a new puppy. That's when Lady's story gets truly heart-breaking - the elderly Lab escaped her new home and trekked 30-miles back to her old home, the home that didn't want her anymore. Once again Lady ended up in a shelter, but this time her story went viral. Heiress Helen Rosburg saw Lady's story and decided to change the old dog's luck. She sent a private jet to pickup Lady and bring her back to Odessa, Florida where Rosburg lives on 100 acres with 300 other rescue animals.
