The Other Side of Ferguson

Ferguson residents are coming together to clean up their neighborhood after violence, looting, and protests left the St. Louis suburb shattered. In the wake of Michael Brown's death things in Ferguson have been anything but normal, which is why members of the community found it so important to take a stand. Not by protesting but by picking up trash and debris left over from the past week's events. Organizers say it's about bringing stability to a torn community.

"We have our fair set of challenges that hopefully now we'll start to deal with. But I really just want everyone to know that we do care, and there are people here that are good people, black and white," said volunteer Necole Powell.
