Event for a cause
Life Boy Scout Brent Leaman, member of Troop 511 in Anderson Township, Ohio, is also a varsity left-handed pitcher on Amelia High School’s Baseball team. Brent is combining his love of Scouting and of baseball with his Eagle Scout service project. Brent is running a new/gently used baseball equipment drive which is benefiting Amelia Knothole Baseball. On Saturday, May 4, 2014 from 1 PM to 5 PM at Amelia High School’s baseball field, 1351 Clough Pike, Batavia, OH, Brent and Scouts and adults from Troop 511 will be collecting new and gently used gloves, shoes and pants. Unfortunately, due to Knothole regulations, we cannot accept bats. Brent, with the completion of his project, will join his two older brothers as an Eagle Scout, all from Troop 511. Questions about the baseball equipment drive can be directed to: Mike Cisneros, Service and Fundraising Chair of Troop 511, at 513-659-5004 or email@example.com.
The Cyclones begin playoff action on Thursday. They return to US Bank Arena next Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
