The Bengals today acquired QB Matt Scott on waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Scott (6-3, 212; University of Arizona) is a first-year NFL player. He spent his rookie 2013 season on the Jacksonville practice squad. He signed with Jacksonville last May as a college free agent, and in preseason with the Jaguars, he completed 18 of 40 passes for 170 yards with no TDs and one INT. He played 34 games with 17 starts for Arizona and was named second-team All-Pac 12 as a senior, posting six 300-yard passing games.
