*That is what you call a bounce back. The most important win of the year.
*Say what you want about this team, but you must admit that win showed you something about them.
*One day after blowing an 8-0 lead and losing 14-9, the Reds regrouped and battered the Jays 11-1.
*Reds jumped on Jays start J.A. Happ, taking advantage of three first innings walks and a passed ball to score 3 runs. Ryan Ludwick's 2-out RBI 1B put them on the board and ahead for good..
*Mike Leake was the real story. With the bullpen battered and bruised, the Reds needed innings from Leake. He gave them eight strong innings, throwing 113 pitches....1 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K. He had gone a combined 15.1 innings in his three previous starts, allowing 14 runs.
*Devin Mesoraco homered for the third consecutive game...#12.
