Summary
If only the Reds offense could face Miami's Jacob Turner and his 5.60 ERA every night.
Instead, the Reds got faced red hot Cleveland RH Cory Kluber, and faced the reality of their offensive woes in a 7-1 loss Monday night. It's the 15th time in the last 17 games the Reds have scored 3 runs or less. Meanwhile, Alfredo Simon appears to have smacked the wall that most feared, allowing a season high tying 5 runs in dropping his fourth consecutive decision.

Scoring:
B1: Michael Brantley RBI ground out scores Jason Kipnis, 1-0 Indians
B4: Lonnie Chisenhall 3-run HR, 4-0 Indians
