Rose to manage Bridgeport Bluefish June 16

 (Bridgeport, Conn. – June 7, 2014) – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that Pete Rose will manage the team for one game on Monday, June 16 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT. Rose, the all-time Major League Baseball hits leader, last managed a professional baseball game just under 25 years ago on August 24, 1989 with the Cincinnati Reds. He will don a professional baseball uniform once again, this time for the Bridgeport Bluefish, as they square off against the Lancaster Barnstormers.
