Spectacular: Fan meets bone marrow match before Dayton Dragons game

Well done Dayton Dragons

From Mandalay Baseball Properties:
Mattie Magill was invited to Fifth Third Field to celebrate her Home Run for Life. The Home Run for Life program, a partnership between the Dayton Dragons and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, recognizes brave children who are battling or have overcome significant medical events.
Mattie was being honored for her battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the white blood cells, with the help of an anonymous bone marrow donor.
Mattie was recognized on the field during an inning break.
Her family and support team were on hand as Mattie took a symbolic lap around the bases.
But there was one more surprise in store for Mattie.
Mattie’s anonymous, life-saving bone marrow donor, Kathleen Czel, had made the trip to Ohio from Connecticut to meet the little girl.
