If you've been by the Banks, you may have seen the chain link fencing around the main entrance to Great American Ball Park, and portions of the concrete ripped up.

The entrance sits on top of underground parking garages, and there are joints between the different sections.  Some fans were tripping over the joints, so they're being smoothed out.  but, the work also involves waterproofing, so less water leaks into the garage.

Joe Feldkamp, with Hamilton County, says the work should be done before opening day.

Because the stadium is owned by Hamilton County, improvements and repairs are the responsibility of taxpayers.  The project is expected to cost about $790,000
