Maybe it's time for a MASSIVE, nationwide game of career musical chairs.

--According to a new survey by "Parade" magazine and Yahoo, almost 60% of Americans say they want a different career.  That's three out of five people who want to drop everything they've worked toward, and start fresh.

--The survey also found people are TWICE as likely to say workers get ahead because they play office politics rather than through hard work.

--The misery doesn't stop there.  19% of people think they're going to have to work into their 70s.  Only 33% think they'll retire by age 65.

--And finally, more than half of people say they'd choose a 5% raise over TWO MORE WEEKS of vacation.  And that's not a spectacular raise considering the trade-off.  At a $50,000-a-year job, 5% is only a $2,500 raise.
