A lot people are mad about the cover of yesterday's "New York Post", showing a 58-year-old man on the subway tracks about to get run over. A photographer for the paper just happened to be standing on the platform at the time. The man was pushed by a 30-year-old panhandler, suffered critical injuries, and ended up dying.

(NEWSER) – More on New York's gruesome subway murder: The panhandler who allegedly threw a man on the tracks and fled while the train crushed him has confessed to police, the New York Post reports. Cops questioned the 29-year-old suspect today after a transit police captain, then on coffee break, grabbed him near Seventh Avenue on 50th Street. Witnesses say the man was emotionally disturbed and talking to himself when he got into an argument with Ki Suk Han, 58, "and launched him—just threw him—straight onto the tracks," says a bystander.
