A Griswald Family Christmas

Let the record show that I'm not traveling anywhere next Christmas.
Here are our holiday travels:
Sunday:
Kelly and the kids drove to my mother-in-law's house in Geneva, IL (317 miles).
I drove to Carmel, IN (133 miles) to celebrate Christmas with my mom.
I had Bub's Burgers, watched football, and opened presents with my mom, then drove home Sunday night. Kelly and the kid's plan to stop in Carmel, on the way back from Chicago this Friday.
Monday: I had Bengals Line noon-3pm. I hit the road to Geneva, IL (317 miles) immediately after the show. I arrived in Geneva around 8:30pm, and enjoyed our traditional Chinese dinner at my mother-in-law's house.
Tuesday: We enjoyed opening Christmas present. But I noticed blizzard reports developing for Indiana. My original plan was to drive back to Cincinnati, by myself, Wednesday morning. I host The Roundtable Show and Mick Cronin Show Wednesday night. After 23 hours in Geneva, I decided not to risk getting stuck somewhere in Indiana. So I left following a fantastic Christmas dinner, at 7:30pm eastern and drove home. I arrived in Independence at 12:44am. Safe and sound.
Total distance traveled: 900 miles
PS.....Is there a bigger cash grab state than Illinois?
From 65 North in Indiana to Geneva, IL, I managed to hit tolls that cost: $.90, $1.90, $1.50 and $3.80. On the back way from Geneva I hit four tolls that were $1.50 each.

Bengals
Hoard: Postseason hopes ride on dominant defense
The Bengals made the following roster moves:
* Acquired WR Dane Sanzenbacher on waivers from the Chicago Bears. Sanzenbacher (5-11, 180; Ohio State) is a second-year NFL player. A Toledo native, he joined the Bears as a college free agent just before 2011 training camp. He played in 16 games with one start last season, with 27 receptions for 276 yards and three TDs. He was on the Bears roster for Games 1-15 this season, playing in five games (10 deactivations) with one catch for seven yards.
* Placed CB Dre Kirkpatrick on the Reserve/Injured list. Kirkpatrick, Cincinnati’s first selection (17th overall) in the 2012 draft, has been sidelined due to a knee injury. He played in five games this season (Games 8-12), with two tackles on defense and two on special teams.
Here you go: NFL playoff scenarios

Must read story from Christmas
A special Christmas for the McCoys
Dayton Daily News
The young boy asked, “Can we have that Christmas tree in the driveway?” Sure, why not. Not long later he and his sisters arrived with a little wagon and tried to haul the big tree down the street, but it kept falling off.
“Let’s get in the car and put the tree in the trunk and take it to their home,” said Nadine. And that’s what we did.
