Denies motions to dismiss case, gag order
( Covington ) A judge has denied a motion to dismiss the case against a former Ben-Gal cheerleader. Judge Patricia Summe made the ruling on Tuesday after listening to arguments on July 30. Sarah Jones is accused of having a sexual relationship with a male student when she was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School.
Her attorney Eric Deters, who is now also her employer, argued that there is no evidence a crime occurred and that several witnesses have lied to prosecutors.
