( Cincinnati ) University of Cincinnati President Gregory Williams has resigned due to personal reasons. The Board of Trustees met for several hours on Tuesday and has appointed Provost Santa Ono, PhD to serve as interim president.
In a statement released by the Board of Trustees, the Board states, "The Board is most appreciative of Dr. Williams' service and contributions to the university."
Dr. Williams began his tenure on November 1, 2009.
