( Goshen Twp ) - Police say 21-year-old Philip Cash shook his 6-month-old child in the early morning hours of November 7th. Emergency crews were called to a home on Obannonville Road on reports the baby wasn't breathing, and doctors found the child with severe head trauma and bleeding on the brain.

Cash was indicted on Wednesday on two counts of felonious assault and four counts of felony child endangering. Investigators say he also dropped the baby in October, fracturing the child's arm, and did not seek medical treatment.

The baby's mother, 21-year-old Ashley Johnson, is also under indictment. She's charged with child endangering.
