( Cincinnati ) The city is launching the Zipcar car-sharing service in Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. It's already in place at the University of Cincinnati and works by allowing people to reserve cars online and use them at an hourly or daily rate.

The website shows that there are three locations for the Zipcar, at Garfield Place/Race Street, E. Court Street/Walnut Street and East 12th/Vine Street.

Mayor Mark Mallory says it will free up parking spaces and make the city greener by making it easier to not own a car if you want to live downtown.
