(Florence) The State of Kentucky granted about $5.8 million in tax incentives for a $42 million expansion to the L'Oreal USA plant in Florence. The company broke ground today on the 110,000 square foot plant expansion that will create more than 200 new jobs over the next three years. The beauty aide company makes hair care products at the facility including the Garnier Fructise brand. Plant manager Eric Wolff say the new expansion will be LEED certified to help combat carbon emissions. Constrcution is set to be completed by Fall 2014. It's one of six manufacturing facilities in the U-S.
