( Independence, Kentucky ) - Over 500 marijuana plants have been found after police were called to a house on burglary concerns.

Kenton County Police were called to a home on Mills Road on Tuesday, for reports of a prowler suspected in the area.

Officers say they found the home unlocked and two burglary suspects were inside, along with an active marijuana grow operation.

Devin Mason, 21, of Covington (below) is charged with six counts of burglary and one count of theft over $500. A female juvenile with Mason is being charged with a first degree count of burglary.

Investigators seized a large amount of cash, along with various pieces of equipment used to grow the marijuana.

Police are looking for the renters of the home, Ronnie Friskey (above), 34, and Gilda Trevino. They were not home at the time of the burglary and anyone with information on there whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
