( Cincinnati ) A public hearing is being held on Monday at 1:00pm by the city's Job Growth Committee to gather input on how to spend millions of dollars of revenue that will begin flowing into city coffers beginning in 2013.
About $8 million is expected to be generated the first year, with as much as $14 million each year starting in 2014. Councilman Charlie Winburn has put forth the most ambitious plan yet, proposing to put most of the money toward bonds that would be used to spur real estate and business develoment around the city. Other city leaders want to parcel out the revenue to different projects, such as the streetcar, or use it to plug budget gaps.
The meeting begins at 1:00pm in Council Chambers at City Hall.
