( Deerfield Twp ) - Warren County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 8600 block of Landen Drive around 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.

47-Year-Old William Jackson of Dayton, Ohio, allegedly had a hammer when he demanded a woman remove cash for him at the PNC ATM. The suspect drove away when another vehicle pulled up. Investigators say the pickup Jackson left in was stolen and found running not far from the scene. K9 units were called.

That's about the time that former Warren County Deputy Ron Robertson saw Jackson around nearby Kingsley Ct. He called it in, describing a suspicious man in the area.

The Sheriff says Robertson was able to keep Jackson in the area until officers arrived. Jackson was then taken to a hospital because he had apparently taken pills beforehand. He's facing aggravated robbery and receiving stolen property charges.
