(Cincinnati) UC Head Football Coach Butch Jones will be speaking with University President Santa Ono Tuesday about continuing his position. Jones and his wife visited the Purdue and Colorado campuses over the past two days and reportedly has a offer on the table from the University in Boulder for a five year $13.5 million contract including an upgrade in their facilities. We're told Jones has turned down the offer from Purdue. Right now, his contract with UC is for $1.575 million that is scheduled to increase yearly through 2017 when he would be paid 2.05 million. That doesn't include the $60-70-million upgrades needed to Nippert Stadium. And if that's included to sweeten Jones' U-C deal it's not know where that money would come from. Last year, Jones turned down offers from Illinois, North Carolina, and UCLA. Friends and family of Jones say he loves living in the Tri-state, but feels compelled to listen to other offers.
