( Georgetown ) 18-year-old Jorge Vargas has been charged with inducing panic and terrorism and making terroristic threats and is being held at the Brown County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
Brown County Sheriff Dwayne Wenninger says his office got the report of a threatened school shooting at Georgetown Exempted Village Schools on November 22. Vargas is accused of posting messages online on November 19. He was arrested on November 26. Sheriff Wenninger says Vargas had been expelled from the district about two years ago after threatening a staff member at the school.
