( Williamsburg Township ) The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened at about 1:00pm at a home on Winding Trails Drive just south of Old SR 32. Troopers say 68-year-old Bessie Garrett was attempting to get out of her car when she was struck, after not placing the vehicle in park.

The car continued rolling after it struck Garrett and came to a rest against a fence. AirCare flew to the scene, but Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
