( Norwood ) A 51-year-old woman is in the Hamilton County Jail, charged with assault after allegedly hitting her boyfriend with a hammer during an argument on Friday night. Tamara Vaughn was arraigned on Saturday morning and is being held on a $7,500 bond.

Vaughn's boyfriend was taken to the hospital from the couple's Pine Street apartment. His condition has not been released.
