(Lockland) They attempted to rob a man but he was carrying a gun. Lockland police say one adult and two teens approached a man sitting alone in his car in the 100 block of North Wayne when the three black males threatened him with a gun in an attempt to rob him, but the man was carrying a gun with a concealed carry permit. Officers say one of the teens was shot in the face, one in the right shoulder, and the adult was hit in the lower left leg with a .40 caliber glock.  The injured trio then fled the scene on foot, but police later found them near the Pride of the Valley Apartment complex a few blocks away. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Police say they are still investigating who shot the three robbery suspects, but they did say they believe it was the man in the car defending himself from an armed robbery.
