( Fairfield Twp ) - The five suspects in the murder of 19-year-old Julian Slaven (pictured) were arraigned on Monday in Butler County.

Joseph Goodin, Jerry Echoles, Anthony Givens, Christia Frymire, and Misty Williams have all pleaded not guilty. Goodin's bond was set at $1 million. Givens and Echoles are being held on $500,000. Frymire and Williams' bond is $200,000 each.

Investigators have described the incident on Judy Drive in November as a drug deal gone bad. 

Assistant Butler County Prosecutor David Kash says the next pre-trial hearing is set for January 14, 2013, and that's likely when it will be decided if the defendants will go to trial.
