(Cincinnati) A new 80-foot sign for the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati has been approved Monday by Cincinnati City Council members on the Budget and Finance Committee. The zoning hearing examiner rejected plans for the sign in November along with three other casino banners. Casino representatives said the sign is supposed to help guide traffic around the casino. The zoning code allows for signs to be only up to 16 feet and that is why the sign was originally rejected by the examiner. Before the sign is allowed, plans for it need to be approved by the full City Council.
