(Covington) If a way is found to fund a replacement for the 49-year-old Brent Spence Bridge, construction is anticipated to begin in 2015. However, at this point the estimated $2.5 billion funding is lacking. That may change after today. Governors John Kasich and Steve Beshear along with other state and local politicians will team up Wednesday afternoon in Covington with U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray Lahood to officially agree on a $4-million study that will be a guide on how to pay for the project.
