(Hamilton)  Service cuts at the Hamilton fire department will save the city $800,000 a year. Two engines will be out of service most of the time. One engine at headquarters on Pershing Avenue and another at the Schuler Avenue fire station. Fire crews say the Schuler Avenue station will not be permanently closed and will become a medic unit station in 2014. Also eighteen firefighters may lose their job this spring if money isn't found to pay them, after a funding grant expires in May.
