( Covington ) The Roebling Suspension Bridge will be closed from 2:30pm until 6:00pm on Thursday after a chunk of limestone fell from the top of the bridge in the morning. 

Members of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will examine the bridge as well as remove the debris. Drivers are asked to use an alternative bridge to get from Ohio to Kentucky.

The bridge reopened about 8:30pm.
