( Walton ) The Boone County Sheriff's office has made a preliminary identification of the victim of a kidnapping, who was tortured, murdered and dismembered. Using clothing, tattoos and the fact that his alleged killers named him, investigators say the victim is 19-year-old Daniel Delfin of Walton.

Investigators say he was killed January 9. The three suspects have told detectives that intended to beat Delfin, but things got out of hand and they were trying to rid the world of evil. Investigators will rely on DNA comparisons with family members to make a positive identification.
