( Crescent Springs ) At about 9:15pm on Wednesday night, a man filling up at the Lusby's Sunoco on Buttermilk Pike had his van stolen while inside the store. A short time later, and Edgewood Police officer noticed the stolen vehicle and began a pursuit.
The van drove through several yards and got up to about 90 miles per hour before crashing into a utility pole. The driver fled, but was arrested about 10 minutes later. He's been identified as 23-year-old Clay Burley of Frankfort. He's being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on $2,500 bond. He's also accused of leaving a stolen SUV at the Sunoco station.
