(Queensgate)  District Fire Chief of the Cincinnati Fire Department Dave Greve reports a One-Alarm structure fire that occurred in Queensgate just after 5 p.m. The Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center received a call from passerby reporting black smoke from a warehouse type structure. Initial arriving Fire Crews reported smoke coming from the roof area. Fire Companies forced entry and encountered heavy smoke conditions. The small fire was located and quickly extinguished.  The incident was complicated by compressed gas cylinders in various areas in the building, including a propane cylinder near the fire. The pressure relief valve from that propane tank was activated, the building was evacuated and the propane was released without further incident. The fire and smoke caused approximately fifty thousand dollars of damage. There were no injuries.
