(Columbus)  Ohio Governor John Kasich on Monday approved plans for 11 projects that are set to create 410 jobs and retain 874 jobs across Ohio.  

The projects will yield $20 million in new payroll and trigger approximately $51 million in investment statewide.  

Air Transport International, Inc. in Wilmington plans to create 65 full-time positions with $5.1 million in new annual payroll due to its new location project in Clinton County. The TCA approved the project, passing a 50 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Jedson Engineering Inc. in Milford also expects to boost the job market by creating 30 full-time positions with a new location in Cincinnati is expected to generate $2.8 million in additional annual payroll and retaining $8 million in existing payroll. A 45 percent, six- year Job Creation Tax Credit was approved by the TCA for this project.

The $51 million in investment is expected to create more than 1,200 jobs in Ohio.
